Danielle Koos is the Founder and Principal Designer of Koos Design, bringing a bold, concept-driven approach to interiors and a passion for creating spaces that leave a lasting impression. With a degree in Interior Design and more than a decade of experience across residential and commercial projects, Danielle leads the creative vision behind each Koos Design project from initial concept through completion.
Her appreciation for design began at an early age, surrounded by iconic pieces like the Eames lounge chair and Noguchi coffee table in her grandfather's study. Those early encounters with timeless furniture sparked a fascination with the relationship between form, function, and the spaces we inhabit. What began as an appreciation for beautiful interiors soon evolved into a passion for space planning and design, with Danielle sketching floor plans and thoughtfully considering every detail, from furniture placement to finishes, long before pursuing design professionally.
Known for her ability to translate a brand, story, or idea into an immersive environment, Danielle approaches each project with the belief that great design should create an experience, not simply a beautiful space. Her work is rooted in thoughtful storytelling, unexpected details, layered materials, and a strong understanding of how people interact with and move through a space.
As Koos Design has evolved, Danielle has developed a growing portfolio of restaurant, bar, and hospitality projects throughout the Washington, D.C. region and beyond. She remains closely involved in the creative process, leading design direction, 3D visualization, material and finish selections, and collaboration with clients, vendors, and project teams.

COO | Lead Interior Designer
Caitlin brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every project at Koos Design, balancing creativity with the organization and technical expertise needed to bring a design from concept to completion. With a degree in Interior Design and a lifelong familiarity with the construction industry, she brings both a strong design foundation and a practical understanding of how spaces come together. Growing up alongside her father on construction job sites, Caitlin developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship, the building process, and the details that turn a design vision into reality.
As Lead Interior Designer, she plays an integral role throughout the design process, from space planning and material selections to project coordination and implementation.
With a natural eye for detail and a highly organized approach, Caitlin excels at navigating the many moving pieces behind a successful project. She works closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and the Koos Design team to ensure that the creative vision is carried through every phase of the project.
Caitlin’s warm, down-to-earth personality makes her a trusted partner for both clients and collaborators. Her ability to pair beautiful design with thoughtful functionality is an essential part of the Koos Design process.
